2017 SCLC Shasta Historical Society Presentation

The presentation, which took place on Saturday, February 25th for the Shasta County Historical Society in Redding, CA, featured a presentation of historic sawmills and equipment found in Shasta and Tehama Counties on Sierra Pacific Industries timberlands, as well as contemporary forest machinery and emerging technologies by Ted James.
A complimentary short film on W.M. Beaty forest operations with Headrick Logging was also shown. The program concluded with a viewing of the Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference (SCLC) documentary film “Our Story”, which was well received by all who were in attendance at the Odd Fellows Hall in downtown Redding.
